O for Outstanding! Outfox for Dogs is Outstanding!! I randomly stumbled upon Outfox, hastily cruising the internet for any ideas on how to help/prevent my garbage disposal GSD from eating everything he set his sniffer on…the smelliest the better, if you know what I mean, yucko smucko poo! Ordering a field guard was a win-win since it also protected him from those nastayy foxtails! To say the least, it has been a lifesaver and it has provided us with some good laughs! Years ago I ordered several extra small… Years ago I ordered several extra small masks for my pugs. After many years of use they are nearly worn out so I ordered two replacements. The current extra small size is significantly larger than the original version. Since my dogs wore them before I figured this out I can’t return them! Extra small is too large for small flat faced breeds.

Excellent protection for dogs These masks are well made and a lifesaver out in the field if your hunting dog runs mouth open and ingest field material. They allow the dog to drink when it's on and are easy to rinse when you come in from a walk or hunting outing. It was easy to order on line with prompt service.

Freedom <3 My border collie was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease myasthenia gravis this year, which causes megaesophagus. It is crucial my dog not swallow things like grass or mulch, which he sometimes just gets stuck on his drooly face then would swallow. The foxtail hood allows him to do his morning sunning in the yard and run free and play with another dog on a large mountain property where we're staying now. He behaves normally in it. I'm a dog trainer and have seen other dogs acclimate to them quickly, too, much faster than muzzle training.

Great product Great product, easy to put on, both Velcro and elastic ties with lock secures so dog cannot get it off. The bottom, below mouth, does wear out as dog scuffs along the ground - wish it could somehow be reinforced or repairable
