While it seems like an easy way to get rid of all the DVDs/CDs you no longer watch/listen to - they really give you nothing for them and probably make a lot selling them elsewhere. I have given them some DVDs not even opened and get 10 cents for them. This least time, they didn't like the packaging I sent one in and wouldn't give me the 10 cents but offered to return it to me at a cost to me of $3.99. At that point, I realized I would rather donate my items to a library or other non-profit than let them earn a huge profit off of my laziness.

In addition, although all of my items were in good condition, they somehow found "problems" with some of them and reduced the price accordingly. They let you reclaim your rejected items if you want, but that's a big hassle - which they know most people won't bother with.

I appreciate the postage costs absorbed by the company. The payment process is usually fast, although it can take 2 weeks for the check to arrive after notification of payment processing. Great job Great job! The video honestly looks better than the original VCR copy. Smooth playback. I got the digital copy and the DVD copy. They edit the DVD copy so that it fits a modern 16:9 ratio TV. It seems they cut the top and bottom of the footage to fit. I typically don't like this but it did look great on my TV. I always have the 4:3 in the digital format too. Fast professional service. I'd recommend getting both copies, so you can preserve the original video aspect while also having a copy to view on TV.
