Don’t use to go to apartment. … I chose this experience because they said they deliver to apartments. Apparently FedEx does not. There is a mail room but FedEx doesn’t do that????. So the cake wasn’t available for the party- not sure when it will come as the recipient isn’t there in the daytime due to work and in New York City the FedEx places can be far away. Expensive lesson learned. Very disappointed and will not order again. I’m updating this review as the recipient did receive the cake later that evening after FedEx returned when they were home. The actual cake experience was very fun for them - the delivery problems not so much.

SEND A CAKE I sent this as an additional gift to my parents anniversary dinner and it was SUCH a huge hit!! It brought so much joy to my parents, especially my mother!! She went down a rabbit hole of researching this company and looking up reactions on social media. She's convinced that her reaction exceeded everything on social media, because she thought the butterflies were real and was scared out of her mind (which she loved, she's weird). This is one of the best gift supplements I have given in years and is still a daily piece of conversation in my family. Thanks for creating a company that spreads JOY!!!!

From what I can determine Honestly, I ordered the cake for my son who has been adopted, and with whom I have no contact. I can only presume that the cake made it to where it was supposed to go, and that it exploded candy, as requested. I am quite sure that my son was pleased with the cake. My experience with using the website was very good - it was easy to place the order, and the company did a good job of updating me regarding the status of the order/delivery. The peace of mind that the company provided me with is incalculable. Thank you and I will definitely be using send-a-cake again for future birthday celebrations.

Cake delivered before requested date and left in porch for 48 hrs The cake was ordered for delivery on 4/29. You decided to send it early and FedEx delivered it and left it on porch on 4/26 late at night(10:30pm) with no one home . I knew that my brother would be gone from 4/26-4/28 which is why I requested delivery on 4/29, his birthday. So cake sat on porch for 48 hrs until he returned, rather than being refrigerated as it should have been.!
