Fantastic company with a customer 1st approach Closer Pets is an efficient & helpful company. I received the wrong plug for their Dog Mate water fountain. After a few quick messages back & forth, they promptly sent the correct plug & a pump. The whole process was hassle-free. I appreciate their kindness, attentiveness, & efficiency. Plus, their Dog Mate fountain is awesome…the best water fountain for pets that I’ve ever seen.

I had to rtn the unit after practicing… I had to rtn the unit after practicing for a week, we went away and came home to maggots and the u it was stuck on an empty slot :( really wanted it to work. Bought extra ice packs and maybe when the house sitter out them in she messed up but either way doesn’t work for us because 5 days would need new ice packs :(

Works well and takes very little power. We got the 4000 litre per hour pond pump (449). It seems to work really well on very little electricity - 47 watts. We're astonished. The first pump we got (from another supplier) used 500 watts and worked too fast, so the UV filter didn't have time to kill algae. The second pump (from another supplier) was lower-rated and allowed the UV to work, but died after 6 weeks, because it was really only designed to empty ponds, not to be used long term. After quite a lot of Web research, we found Closer Pets and are delighted with the 449 Pump. Our pond is getting cleaner every day and we're using a fraction of the electricity.

Excellent customer service and product Excellent customer service, excellent product. Closer Pets answered all of my questions by phone and email and helped me find the best possible solution for my cats. I need an auto feeder that will open simultaneously for two cats. The C200 accomplishes that with the lid-link clip. The only drawback is the bowls are side by side and I would prefer to have two bowls separated since one cat may finish his meal first and try to steal his brother's food. The C200 is solid construction. The timer knob moves slowly so be patient. I thought it wasn't moving at all and contacted Closer Pets to ask about it.

Poor communication. I received a prompt response to an emailed question about a problem I have with their product, but it didn’t address the question. Also, tracking information indicates that the item I ordered has not yet been shipped…five days after I received an email saying that it had been and two days after I would have received it if it had been. Overall I would say their communication style is like a quick puff of hot air.
