Such a great idea This allowed us to have a honeymoon fund and building on it from the engagement to the wedding. If I didn't want something that I originally thought I did, I could cash out on it. So perfect for two houses combining and not having gone through storage prior to registering. Recommend this!

We loved it ! We honestly loved this registry. As couple who has lived together for the past five years we have acquired many of the things you would find on a traditional registry. This registry allowed us to have a place our guests could go to for gifts without ever having to go to the store. Our guests loved this option! The only downside is that they take out a fee from each gift after the person gives it. I understand there is a fee to run this service but I almost wish the guests who gave gifts knew that. I understand why they do it that way so that the guests don't have to feel like they are being charged to give a gift. So in the end I totally get it. Overall easiest and best registry experience! We would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone !

Great but a little confusing for people We thought the experience went very well. The only negative thing that we could say is that it was confusing for a lot of people on how it works. They're not used to online cash registries, especially the older generation, and we feel that had an effect on how many people gave gifts. If there was a short video (15-30 second animation) explaining how it worked that would have helped a ton I feel

Super handy registry experience SimpleRegistry gives you all the facts straight up...except a few really important ones: 1. Probably sign up with the same email address as your PayPal account 2. Everything works in US$. If you are in the rest of the non-US$ using world (the other 96.6% of the world), you'll be wasting some money on the exchange rate. Overall, however, positive experience and made it easy for some of our overseas guests and those who couldn't make the wedding to give us a gift. I wouldn't be using it again, unfortunately. Will try to find an Australian or more flexible platform.

unnecessary We started our registry with this site and found out it was not helpful in the slightest. If someone wanted to purchase a gift for us off of the registry, we would only get the cash for that item and we would have to go buy the gift. Any gift of money given to use, the website gets a cut. Doesn't make sense to have a middle man for no reason. Also, we had a guest sign up for a cash gift, but someone got confused that they had to actually personally give us the case....just a confusing process all around. Do not recommend.
