Awful practices I have had several years' worth of dealings with Wedding Wire. I paid for a year of advertising with them, and had over 100 inquiries that way. But only one booking. (my normal booking percentage is above 50%, so this is a testament to the low quality leads). Once you decide you will no longer pay, they think of every way they can hurt your business, including charging your card without your permission, silently changing user terms so that you are automatically renewed for another year of advertising without notifying you, and then charging 'overdue' fees if you change your credit card on file. It also seems that once you stop paying them, they will delist or blacklist you and remove even the regular (free) services available to other nonpaying vendors. Dealing with them is frustrating, and all the customer service staff are quick to blame you (the user) rather than politely inquiring about the issue. They also blatantly lied about their success (WW told me some really fantastic booking numbers that a local wedding vendor had had with them; I got in touch with said vendor, and they confirmed those numbers were a lie) It's just a terrible experience overall, and it's a shame that they are otherwise a useful service to folks looking for wedding vendors, who do not know how vendors are treated. I would never recommend them to any other wedding vendor.

False leads and numbers They literally send you almost zero buisness. We have had 55 or so couples send generic messages to have 1 answer. We think they are falsifying facts and leads. We have some proof of it and are going to start a class action lawsuit as the reviews on here from all these other companies seem to say the same. Send any proof you have to us just look us up on the internet we are MKE hall in Milwaukee Wi. We cant post our contact info on here. We will be reaching out to each one of you. Anyone reading this review dont use them. They are beyond terrible.

Please STAY AWAY Please STAY AWAY. I just got off the phone with Heather, my account manager after many attempts to get in touch with her. I want to cancel my 1 year agreement of advertising because it's really a SCAM. I spend $579/month an haven't booked a single wedding after spending $6k. Trust me I've been in the catering business for almost 30 years and you're better off advertising with Google. Don't advertise with anyone that ties you up in an annual contract. All the leads are fake not a single person responds. Beware of this company, it's a ripoff.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE- VENDORS BEWARE!!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE- VENDORS BEWARE!!!! Don't do it. Seriously, spend the incredibly overpriced marketing fee's on a googlead campaign or some other form of marketing. All you will get is fake spam bots that inquire and when you reply (because you have to or else your score goes down) they NEVER respond. Obviously... because they're fake. The weddingwire/ the knot should be ASHAMED of themselves. Locking people into a year contract and providing false numbers, fake leads and the promise of return on investment is just gut wrenching. Seriously stay away from them.

Another Trap in a Lucrative Industry I have been a WW vendor for over a decade with two different businesses in the wedding industry. Initially, when it was owned and run by Sonny Ganguly, customer service was wonderful and I gladly paid the 600 euro yearly fee for a premium page. Then Sonny moved on and the Knot took over. Vendor services now is non-existent, it is very hard to get answers to disputes and problems we face, but what is worse is that once you sign up, you no longer have control over your own business image unless you close the business and send them proof. You cannot eliminate YOUR OWN PAGE from their platform. I know, I know, we need to read the fine print. Kind of like Facebook and Instagram I guess .... I thought WW wrould be better ... As of today (at least for my business) I am getting spammed and scammed as fake vendors are setting up pages and tagging us in 'real' weddings. I wish I could get out of this horrible trap, but at least I can warn others here at Trust Pilot.
