About Uown Leasing

In 2008, a group of lending executives in Tampa, FL came together and saw a need: credit challenged customers had virtually no place to go for financing. Armed with decades of industry experience and a passion for helping customers in need—Uown Leasing was born. In 2020, Uown was acquired by an $8+ billion Private Investment Fun that provided Uown more opportunity for growth in the years to come. At Uown, we understand that the credit score does not define the customer. It’s our belief that everybody, regardless of credit history, should have the ability to provide for his or her family. By giving customers a simple, straight-forward lease-to-own payment option on everyday items, Uown works hard to make that happen. A lot has changed since 2008, but our focus on doing business the right way remains the same. We see both our merchants and consumers as part of the Uown Family.
