GBHelping the people of Yemen As a small nonprofit, HRD has done great work to provide the people of Yemen with help meeting basic needs like food security and opportunities to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs through things like Project Uplift. I was an intern for the organization and then an employee, so I have seen the hard work that the staff put in to make sure that decisions are made that provide the best benefits to citizens despite an array of obstacles. HRD is an organization I will always admire for starting with an idea to help others and being able to expand to truly leave an impact in various lives.

I can’t say enough how many they have helped and how many are grateful but I can definitely say they are phenomenal. I hope that the negative comments can be revisited because during such times life is already overwhelming and I know they do their best to respond to everyone.
