Love the food, packaging needs improvement First let me say, I am a huge Splendid Spoon fan. The meals, noodle bowls, soups and especially the smoothies are delicious. The ingredients are fresh, and overall, I thoroughly enjoy their offerings. However, I must express my disappointment with the packaging for the meals. Upon delivery, I noticed that the boxes were wet and torn, and some of the meal trays were broken at the edges. On one of the meal trays the corner was broken out with frozen food pieces falling out. Despite my positive experience with the food, the subpar packaging has led me to reconsider future orders. I will likely stick to ordering smoothies, soup, and noodle bowls, as these items seem to be better suited to the current packaging methods. While I thoroughly enjoy the food from Splendid Spoon, I do believe there is room for improvement in the packaging department. With better packaging, I would have given a higher rating.

Delicious Smoothies Decided to try Splendid Spoon smoothies despite all these reviews. I had no problem ordering on the website, my order came quickly and in great condition. Loved the smoothies which I personally chose out of their selection and will definitely be ordering again. The follow up from the company was great as well as keeping me informed all throughout the shipping process. Very pleased with their products.

Service and selection declining I have been a loyal customer for nearly 6 years. Over the past year more and more deliveries are missing items —no replacement, just missing/refunded. As I order the amount I need for a week of work, this means I have to now try to cook (living in a hotel on travel) or order at the cafeteria with unhealthy options. Now their selection has massively decreased in terms of soup options. The final straw was they changed their packaging (so no longer reusable) and therefore decreased the portions for the same price!

I relied heavily on Splendid Spoon from… I relied heavily on Splendid Spoon from late 2018 to early 2020, when I spent busy, 10-hr days in the office. The soups were delicious and healthy, and I ate them for breakfast and lunch. I ordered again recently and was disappointed in the flavors. Spices, herbs, and heat were missing. Some of my favorites were noticeably less flavorful, while other favorites were dropped from the menu. I liked this service because of the bold and unique offerings, but they’ve really gone in a bland direction over the past 2 years. The food is hard to get through now unless you season it yourself with hot sauce, herbs, and spices.
