Cancellation run-around I called to cancel our plan before renewal, as we have other insurance. Online, it says that their hours are until 8 pm; however, once a representative finally answered, I was told that the "cancellation office" was closed. Today, I have been waiting over an hour now to speak to someone regarding cancelling. . .I'm beginning to feel like this is a system to keep people from cancelling. . ..sigh. . so tired of the games. . .

My wife and I have had a Careington… My wife and I have had a Careington Plan membership for years and it's saved us a lot of money on procedures. It's much cheaper than dental insurance which in most cases only pay part of the bill anyway and has annual limits that are easily exceeded. This plan has no limits on how much you can use it. It's apparent from the few negative reviews that some people just don't understand how discount plans work.

I can not locate an endodontist that takes Careington I called dozens of providers on Careington's list and they no longer took the plan. I then called a Careington representative and she said she'd find an endodontist and email me. I never received any such email. I suggested they have someone on staff call their list and see which providers are still participating in the plan. I doubt they will as they want to have a long list to draw in new people buying the Careington plan. Big waste of money. I'm in the process of requesting a refund.

5 times submitting the same claim I have been submitting the same claim since May this is now almost October first time wrong address second time need more information third time wrote down everything the agent said and sent it out for a fourth try just called again they said the numbers they needed was missing two numbers. This will be the fifth time sending it out They never contacted me to tell me that stuff was wrong on my application which they should have I go online and I can't even find anything I can't even find my policy.

Illegal practices Illegal practices. Careington ACE dental plan representative claims that the dental plan gives 50% discount for fillings. Absolutely not true. The total amount I paid $444 includes Careington‘s fee, however without this discount plan I would pay $380. This company established their own prices, but if dental office has lower prices you still pay Careington‘s price. I received discount 9%, but altogether I paid $65 more.
