Wish I could rate less than 1 star Wish I could rate less than 1 star. Signed my son up for online therapy. My son wasn't using it anymore so we cancelled. Message on website confirmed it was cancelled but we received no email confirmation. Then lo and behold credit card was charged another $468 dollars. Tried to contact domental again but guess what? Not able to send them an email site kept saying it timed out would not let us send. And no phone number to contact them. What a total scam should be reported to the better business bureau or the FTC. Federal law requires online merchants to provide “simple mechanisms” for a consumer to cancel a subscription service.

The therapy is great The therapy is great, but sometimes when I write a long message and start to do something else midway it doesn't save the part I wrote. It hasn’t happened in a while but I'm not sure if I adapted to it or they fixed it, so 4 stars.

Overseas use and refunds First off, this service is not for anyone outside of American timezones. Do not waste your money. Whenever my 'therapist' would respond it would be at 4am. I wake up at 7-8am and would send messages to try and talk before work (around 2-3pm in San Fransisco) and get no response until the next day at 4am. Secondly, don't bother messaging customer service through the app, it is uselessless and you will never get a response. If you need a refund you need to contact their help email address (which I would include in this review if I could) - it took about 2 business days for a response to come through, which was just a confirmation of my refund. Finally, you are charged in USD and refunded in USD. If the american dollar has gone down since you signed up, you will not get all your money back.

Nice app Nice app. I tried betterhelp before but my therapist told me she doesn't answer messages in between sessions, and that was why I started online therapy in the first place. I love writing my thoughts and journaling. The domental therapist answers my messages several times a day and it feels like I'm in therapy all the time. This really helps as I have a chronic condition that causes constant pains.

Had to cancel credit card so they would stop charging me I had some therapy and it was lovely but after I cancelled - and confirmed with chris it was cancelled... a few months later they just started charging my credit card again! And now they won't answer my e-mails or messages. I had to cancel my credit card to get the payments to stop. So unless you want to cancel your credit card when you stop this therapy, please don't give them your number!
