Ableism and Disrespect Lavender Psychiatry should really do some pre-screening. They booked me for an appointment, I filled out a very long intake form full of personal information (including financial) and was told they couldn't work with me because I had a concussion 11 years ago. They also will not work with anyone who even might be autistic. There's some weird ableism there and also no respect for client time, energy, and the difficulty of disclosure.

Denied care for something silly I was denied care for the sole reason that I’ve been prescribed suboxone. It’s pretty apparent that I’m still paying for mistakes I made years ago. I wasn’t expecting to be prescribed suboxone through lavender, I just wanted help with my other issues. Complete waste of time really.

pestered me to make a new appointment… pestered me to make a new appointment and then want to charge me $100 because I tried to cancel within 24 hours due to an emergency. The care is not good, if you just need pills its fine but dont try to utilize their care team.

Feels Like I was Scammed I signed up for an appointment because one of my previous psychiatrists joined the site. I went through the full account setup, tested to make sure everything was working ahead of time, but when I went to log in for my appointment the site kept sending me back to the login form no matter what I tried. When I finally made it into the site (had to go to the booking page which had a cached login, log out, then log in again) and opened my appointment, no one was there. I was changed $300 for an appointment I never had, when I was told it would only be a $25 copay through insurance. No one answered the phone number listed on their website, or the text help line, or via their email support.

I found my amazing therapist through… I found my amazing therapist through Lavender. I have been in therapy for many years now and have not felt so well matched before. The concierge team is always helpful and great at following up. I also appreciate the distanced counseling in the comfort of my home. Definitely recommend if you’ve been searching for the right fit!
