They provide excellent sound blocking, my only issue being that I do not hear my alarm go off. Although I chose economy shipping, they arrived well before I expected. We recently installed a sump pump in… We recently installed a sump pump in the basement directly below our bedroom. My wife is a light sleeper and could hear the unit operating.
