GBDisappointed. It is almost noon, the day after Thanksgiving and this meal gift has NOT been delivered. I paid about $65.00 extra, for the two-day delivery. I was told it was to be delivered no later than Wednesday, November 25th. This was a gift for a friend (military personal himself,) who was spending the holiday by himself, since his wife was deployed to South Korea and Covid made it impossible to travel to be with other family and friends. Very disappointed in SendAMeal.com. I will not use this company again. I do not recommend this company or their service.

GBGreat customer service Great customer service! I accidentally double ordered the Christmas dinner for my grandparents, and emailed them right away, requesting to cancel one of the orders. Not only did they confirm that I’d be charged only for one meal, but they responded with 3-4 minutes! They were quick, efficient, and their website was a breeze to navigate. This is my second order with them, and I’ll definitely order again! Trusted, Z.C.

GBThe options were great. This was a sympathy gift. The options were great. And the receiver thanked us adding that "this was so much better than flowers!" The only issue was delivery time. Delivery is ultra expensive if you want the meals to be received while a family is still in the initial mourning period, and that delivery still got the meals delivered a week after the loved one had passed.

GBGreat gift for those hard-to-buy-for folks We've sent Send-a-Meal for gifts a dozen or so times now-- always a hit! We've had a few ourselves as well; they are well packaged, easy to heat and delicious! This is our go-to for get wells, condolences, births- those times when folks could use a night off of dinner prep. In all of those dozen or so orders, only had one issue, and customer service handled it via email in less than an hour. Excellent customer service!! My only critique is that there isn't a vegetarian option or 2 in the gift "occasions menu," but that isn't enough to impact a 5-star review.

GBSend-a-meal was a bereavement gift for recent widower. Send-a-meal was a bereavement gift for recent widower. The site should have communicated with me about delivery status. Recipient told me when package arrived; Send-a-meal did not. Although I included a gift card with the order, it was not included in package so recipient didn’t know who package was from. Recipient has couched his opinion of the food. I do not know if he likes it.
