I had surgery at Southampton Eye… I had surgery at Southampton Eye Hospital, to correct a dislocated lens. Mr Lash removed the vitreous gel and the old lens; then, under his supervision, a colleague fastened the new lens in place. Stephen Lash and the whole team were excellent and inspired confidence throughout. Yes Stephen you were very calm, I only heard your voice rise a notch once! Genuinely Excellent I can't recommend Mr Lash and his team ( Tanya & Paul ) highly enough for the excellent treatment, care & service they provide. They genuinely want you to be comfortable and reassured, before, during and after surgery. Mr Lash is passionate and obviously enjoys his work. Achieving the best possible outcome for your vision is as rewarding for him as it will be for you. Hopefully I haven't made any typos here but it is only 24hours since surgery ( cataract replacement with multi-focal lens ).

He rescued the vision in my left eye by repairing a bad retinal tear and reattaching the macular - which had become fully detached. My experience of cataract surgery was… My experience of cataract surgery was excellent. I was well informed at all stages from initial consultation, the procedure, post op care and follow up. I am very pleased with the results and I am no longer dependent on glasses which has changed my life. I felt very safe and confident in Mr Lash’s skills and expertise and received an excellent standard of care.
