Distressing views Hostile, racist, distressing content and commenting. Something has happened there, some alienation in user base or something. It's not funny anymore. Although can't say is it all social media or just 9gag.

A decade of dedication, destroyed Well, that's it. After 10 years on 9gag I decided to leave. It wasn't due to the dark humour or political posts but because of their soul crushing adverts that can not be skipped. To make it worse, they play the advert audio over the posts. Guess I'll have to interact with real people now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks a lot 9gag

Racism and pedophilia Unfortunately, Racist post and comments and pedo comments really take away from the appropriate posts and make it hard to stomach this site. I uninstalled the apps for those reasons. Am truly disgusted.
