GBWorse than craigslist Expect 40+ spam bot notifications a day. If you report them, Tumblr management laughs in your face and does nothing to ban them. So you have 90% of the activity on the site literal spam bots and 10% snarky content farmers. It's not really much of an interactive community at all. Then there's the whole secondary blog thing with zero ability to comment as your secondary blog or follow others as your secondary blog. What's the point. The platform is rubbish. The management is rubbish. I wouldn't be shocked if all Tumblr was at this point in time is a laundering racket like Craigslist clearly is. This website and their trash phone app are a complete scam.

PTUnquestionably Another Platform with Echo Chamber Censorship to Benefit Brainwashing Corporate Oligarchs Yahoo! has destroyed the artistic freedom in this platform and turned it into a regressive place that plays everything safe. So, there is no more adult content that artists made for expressing themselves. Users get banned for no reason because of dumb bots. They cannot retrieve their banned accounts' data. All of their pictures, comments, and textual posts get removed once those accounts get banned as a result. Which is why Tumblr has become a draconian witch hunt platform. There are people who have left Tumblr because their accounts get banned for no reason and they don't have the original amount of artistic freedom on it anymore. It has become a sad place with people walking on eggshells because of self-censorship.

GBUsed to be cool but completely trashed… Used to be cool but completely trashed the old platform. Images that arent even NSFW are still flagged and removed, but yet I'm still getting porn bots and fake profiles following me. About to delete my blog like millions of others already have. Congratulations tumblr, you just killed your own company and lost a lot of money.

GBMy account was closed My account was closed. Why because it said I was not following the guidelines. That I was posting unsuited material. These were posting that were already posted, I did not originally post these. If they were not allowed why were they on there? Should they be reviewed before Tumblr approve them before they are allowed on the site? Again I did not originally post so why should I pay for your mistake?

GBRidiculously bad unless you're a terrible human being Clearly run by an incompetent old boys club, this site promised a lot then slowly sank into a quagmire of impossible standards, unless however you are a porn bot, literal nazi or peadophile. These being the only communities thriving anymore. It's long since time that whoever tried running this site took the time to learn how normal human beings worked, then added code to work FOR them rather than against them. Please make note of all the staff named as working for Tumblr and make a mental note NEVER to let them near a computer in future.
