About Collectic Home

The Collectic Home philosphy is a simple one. We believe that the furnishings we offer are much more than the fabric, foam, wood and hardware from which they are made. They are very personal. They are placed in homes where families live, love, laugh and grow. It's our hope that everything you find at Collectic Home will become truly part of your family lore.

Cool inventory, superb service I've bought a number of items from this locally-owned boutique shop in Rollingwood over the years and it's always been a great experience. All the salespeople are well informed and helpful, but not overly so--for independent shoppers like myself, they provide just enough assistance for me to make a clear, smart decision. Products have been excellent quality at a fair price. A much more pleasant experience than shopping at a big chain store--I check them out first whenever I need anything.

Great Store, High-Knowledge Salespeople, But Unprofessional This is a great store to browse through, and if you're looking for people to help you visualize what type of furniture, etc. to integrate into your home, they're helpful with that, too. I paid the fee of $75 to have someone come see my house to give me ideas. She texted me the morning of the scheduled appointment asking to push it back 2 hours (no apology). I couldn't do so, so we rescheduled for later that afternoon. Once in my apartment, she was really helpful with visualizing how to decorate, but she did hiss at my cat (who, in fairness, started it, but let's be honest: there was only one cat involved and yet there were two creatures hissing). This decorator made a number of comments of how she would do my decoration pro-bono, because what she was doing wasn't what she usually did (I'm not sure what she usually did, and what was extra, and I didn't ask for anything extra-- this all made me uncomfortable). Once the visit was over I was left with some really solid general ideas for how to proceed (she really did have a good eye!), and the decorator told me she would get back to me with a plan on which products to buy from Collectic that were in my budged that jived with her vision and my style. If I bought $250 or more of products within 6 weeks (?), the $75 visit fee would be deducted from that total. I waited about a month, and then got a text saying she hadn't forgotten about me and that she would extend the 6 week period for me to get the $75 dollar credit. A couple of weeks later, I received a text around 10:30pm letting me know she had a powerpoint ready for me and asking me to swing through the store the next afternoon. I wasn't able to do so on such short notice and given the late text message (among other things, all of which I found unprofessional) I wasn't inclined to continue working with her, so I didn't respond.
