GBMDF Beadboard Passed the Water Test The beadboard sample kit was so helpful. I love that the beadboard is reversable and provides two different width options for the bead. I tested the MDF by soaking one end of it in water for 8 hours, and there was less than 1/16th of an inch difference between the non-soaked end upon removal. I'd imagine if there was a coat of paint on the MDF that there would be no change from the water. I highly recommend this product, and it passed the test to be installed as our kitchen backsplash.
