GBI have purchased 10 of these. Definnitely a good decision. I have purchased 10 of these. 3 are on my workstation. They are great for my mood. I was growing a micro tomato in my first and it got to the point that I needed to water it daily so I pulled and potted that plant. The substrate makes this easy although removing from the basket is not so simple. Could be if the basked was redesigned. The intent is for it to hold the substrate so it could be much more open. I gave one Growpad to my granddaughter who attends Maine Maritime Academy. Rooms are small with very limited window and counter/desk space. GrowPad is perfect. It adds green and growing plant smells, a light and a fan. What more could you ask for in a small space solution? I gave 1 (or was it 2) to my disabled sister. She has limited mobility but these work perfectly as they don't require much manual dexterity and for the same reasons as my granddaughter, space, smells, fan and light. I'm not really a herb person but I have rosemary, chives and bee balm growing right now.

GBGot a Grow Pad Mini because I wanted to… Got a Grow Pad Mini because I wanted to grow herbs & basil, but I have limited space in my one bedroom apartment. Love how compact the setup is and it's very nice not having to deal with a mess from soil since it's a hydroponic gardening process. Really looking forward to seeing how my first harvest goes in a few weeks!
