Works Well Works well. Turns the volume down on outside noises (except low frequencies). Loud sounds become moderate. Moderate sounds become barely-audible. Quiet sounds become inaudible. My only complaint is the instructions it came with were misleading on how to connect the brackets to the bar. Maybe I got outdated instructions. I suggest that the company advertise more clearly the fact that it's made of EPA rather than PVC MLV. Standard MLV is made of PVC, which offgasses toxic fumes indefinitely. EVA does not. This product has a smell for a couple weeks - but at least it's a harmless smell.

The instructions were missing a few… The instructions were missing a few details like rotating the piece that holds the bar in place. The curtain makes absolutely zero difference in noise level. The magnetic strip is pulled off the wall by the weight of the curtain.

We needed a product that would help us… turn a den into a nursery We needed a product that would help us turn a den into a nursery for baby #2 by closing off an open doorway into the room to block light & sound but still allowing us to come in and out. After learning that other methods (sheetrock, accordian doors, etc) couldnt work, Residential Acoustics was able to create a large, custom fitted acoustic curtain that we could hang and slide open and closed as needed. The curtain does a great job keep light and sound out to keep the baby asleep while still allowing air to flow. The staff were super helpful in coming up with this creative solution to our problem and getting the product to us in time! Thanks Residential Acoustics!

They Work Really Well ! I usually do not write reviews, but was so happy and surprised at the job these curtains did to block noise. We live in some houses that literally a 5 feet from your neighbors and right next to the freeway... So needless to say it was hard to sleep without hearing my neighbors outside or the rush hour traffic. I ordered enough to cover the bedroom windows and not it is literally almost silent in my master bedroom. As a light sleeper and someone who wakes up from talking or traffic, i would recommend these without a second thought!

Not what I was expecting I ordered a large window covering and it only had two support straps for the entire length; even though it is 6 1/2 ft wide. Can't roll it up adequately; takes two people to do it and even when we can get it rolled up, it sags since it only has two straps. Made comments to them and they said that I could send it back for additional straps etc, at my expense. Also doesn't dampen the sound as drastically as the video. Video shows very thick material and the actual material is not that thick.
