We used the cork panels to… insulate our bathroom floor We used the cork panels to protect/insulate our tile floor in a slab-level bathroom. We wanted something 'natural' with no off-gassing and this product performed! We also added heating and that is working quite well sandwiched between the cork and tile. We found the cork panels were easy to work with as there was no fighting a roll, especially in such a small space.

Wasn't a true half inch thick Honestly I bought half-inch cork board and i got what measured to be almost an eighth of an inch less. Was planning to use 1/2" aluminum angle as a surround frame and glue it to cabinet faces. So when i got to measuring it initially after i found the trim was too deep, i noticed this cork didn't even measure a half an inch. Now i have to miter down the aluminum and am a bit disspointed, but at least the cork itself and the sheets are a really high quality.
