GBMy experience purchasing with Cork… My experience purchasing with Cork Direct was truly enjoyable. They are very helpful, kind and informative. I found the easiest way to communicate with them is through email and then to call when ready to make purchase. I recommend them for sure.

GBGood product, good vendor. We use 1/4" cork 2'x3' sheets as underlayment when we lay click-together flooring over concrete. We also use Visqueen vapor barrier over the concrete, under the cork. What is great about these sheets is that they lie flat (unlike rolled cork), & they are sized for easy handling. We tape them together so they don't shift on the floor. We have used this technique on several floors It lasts, it provides some cushioning of the floor, it deadens the sound of traffic on the floor. It also turns 3/8"-thick flooring into 5/8"-thick flooring, making the use of moldings and transition pieces easier.

GBWasn't a true half inch thick Honestly I bought half-inch cork board and i got what measured to be almost an eighth of an inch less. Was planning to use 1/2" aluminum angle as a surround frame and glue it to cabinet faces. So when i got to measuring it initially after i found the trim was too deep, i noticed this cork didn't even measure a half an inch. Now i have to miter down the aluminum and am a bit disspointed, but at least the cork itself and the sheets are a really high quality.
