I've used AP Movers when moving my corporate office last year, and was pleased to find out that they also do residential.They were accommodating to me having to push my move date back a few days due to a delay in new furniture delivery. Explanation of pricing was given over the phone at initial scheduling, again by way of email, and again in person at time of move, so there were no added fees or surprises.
