AUTechnically, all my broken stuff was "moved"... My International Movers (their international moving division) handled my move from Seattle, WA to Adelaide, Australia. From the beginning, things were difficult to coordinate with the moving specialist. Numerous calls and emails would go un-answered until I would contact other people at the company. Then it took 7.5 months for my belongings to arrive, all the while the company suddenly requiring more money than what was listed in the contract for delivery. Their moving specialist even tried to charge a university credit card that was specifically used to hold the reservation over 7 months prior. Nonetheless, here's where the real problems began: The delivery of my items. Six of the dozen or so major pieces of furniture moved were irreparably damaged. The moving company here in Australia was astounded by the lack of care the company put into packing any of the items, which included an armoire with legs sticking out of any wrapping (two of the legs were severely damaged), a dresser that was wrapped in nothing but thin cardboard and that was split almost the entire length of the dresser, paintings wrapped in nothing but tissue and cardboard, both of which were shattered, a bicycle placed in an otherwise empty cardboard box and that, as a result, had its frame bent, and a lamp placed in a box labeled 'fragile' that received no other protection and was therefore absolutely demolished. Mind you, every item I wrapped and packed in boxes myself arrived fine, including glass figurines and mugs. It was only the poorly packaged furniture items handled by My International Movers themselves that were damaged. The estimated damage, which is all photographed and documented, is ~$10,000 U.S. dollars. The end result has been the company offering me $500, far below the minimum liability insurance for 300 cubic feet of items shipped. It's almost more of an insult to offer me that low amount after what was clearly a result of their negligence. I cannot stress enough: this has been one of the worst business transaction experiences of my life, and the company *still* refuses to acknowledge its wrongdoing. My main goal at this point is to help others steer clear of the mistake I made hiring them to move my belongings.

GBExpensive But High-Quality Service Overall, I give My International Movers top marks. The only reason I don't give them five stars is that we had a disagreement about the total volume of my shipment (boxes only - no furniture) from England to the US, and I believe I paid too much for the relatively small size of my shipment. But I have accepted their explanation (reluctantly) and have nothing but praise for all other parts of my experience dealing with them. My primary contact, V., was terrific in terms of guiding me through what needed to be done and responding to all my questions and concerns. Communication was top-notch; I always knew the status of my shipment. It was also handled very well: nothing was broken in transit. The men who picked up the shipment in England and those who delivered it in the US were quick, efficient, and courteous. So while it was an expensive shipment, it was worth it for the level and quality of the service I received.

GBGreat move to Ottawa The rate was realistic to what I was expecting. I liked them best because of the options. They had an affordable method of sharing a freight carrier with another load. It seemed weird at first hearing about it because I felt like a mix up could occur but they mentioned that was something that many people use and problems barely ever occur. Since it was the most affordable option, that's the one I went with. Within a few weeks everything arrived in Ottawa undamaged and on time.

BDGood Price for Service Provided The initial contact and set up was painless. The moving crew was on time and did the packing professionally with no time wasted. The same applies for the arrival which was nearly a month later just outside of London. The greatest part is they weren't too expensive considering how far I was moving and how much stuff I was bringing with me. I was quoted nearly 5 grand more than what my final total came out to here. Happy I had My International take care of this move and would definitely recommend to others.

NPThey even made up for a minor mistake It was surprising how calm and organized everyone stayed during the move. I felt like there were so many details to our move. It was giving me a headache just thinking about it. Anyway the move to Toronto from Austin went pretty smooth. The only issue we ran into was the arrival time was set back a day from what they originally told us. They made up for it by helping us unpack and organize which was a no extra cost. They didn't unpack everything because we didn't yet know how we wanted it all arranged but they took care of all boxes for the kitchen and moved furniture around until we were happy with the set up. That for sure ended things on a good note.
