Do not waste your money on this… Do not waste your money on this company. The moving company quoted us 3x the initial amount after they showed up the day of. Modest mover is just a broker, despite calling them several times they were unwilling to help. Even if we would have only moved the smallest box, there was no way we could have ever reached the initial quote. And per contract you can’t cancel anymore on the day of without losing the deposit. It’s a lose lose, just avoid them from the beginning.

Liars I was asked what day I wanted my items delivered through the telephone consultation where services were coordinated. I gave them my move in date, expecting my items to be there around the date I chose. I was assured that this is the day my items would be at my new home. When my items were picked up, I heard nothing from anyone until I called to follow up. When I followed up, I was told that my items would be delivered within 15-21 days after my delivery date. That’s completely dishonest and I wish I would have just moved my things myself. Please, just hire the company yourself or contact the third-party they have assigned to you so you can find out their actual delivery eta. I wish I never heard of this company.

They packed everything very safely They showed up exactly on time and very professionally and courteously moved everything without damaging a single item or either house. I could not have been happier with the move. I don't know of anything more that could be asked of a moving company.

DO NOT USE This experience has been beyond horrible. We were quoted $2200, but then charged over $4000. The guy I spoke with over the phone completely contradicted the guys doing my pickup. The pickup was late, and my delivery keeps being pushed back. I have not received my items, people are not getting back to me with correct details, the contact is completely unprofessional, and I had confirmed delivery with two different people before I even placed my order and had delivery men come. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

BEWARE- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR… BEWARE- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR THEIR COUNTERPART FLASH BOYS MOVING!!!!! Modest movers are robbers. They underestimate your inventor and hold you hostage. Their subcontractor makes you sign a new contract because they do not accept Modest Movers contract. These people should have criminal charges weighed against them. Their subcontractor showed up late and held us hostage for additional $$$at 11 pm and quadrupled storages charges. They also broke a lot of items and the insurance that you sign with Modest movers is not valid with the subcontractor. DO NOT HIRE THEM. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!
