AUI bought 2x new 10TB NAS HDD I bought 2x new 10TB NAS HDD. Tried installing in a Synology NAS enclosure. Something went wrong - was it Synology or WD or User fault?? Sent back under warranty to WD in Australia with crossed fingers. Just received 2x NEW HDD replacements. Friggin' amazing. Blown away by how fast and replacement policy. This is how HiTech companies should treat their customers :) Ill buy more in future knowing even though I'm not a fully qualified techno, I can get backup from these guys.

GBIf only there was a 0* option. If only there was a 0* option. I wouldn't recommend My passport to my worst competitor. Started eighteen moths ago, bought a My passport to back up my account and work. Failed out of the blue had to get the data recovered at my own expense. Thinking that may be just a one off bought a better My passport six months later déjà vu. So then bought another that I believed to have a digital back up, but no and six months down the line pop goes the hard-drive spent three days trying to get the damn thing to work then three hours going around and around in circles with their customer support chat answering the same questions over and over.

IDI wonder why WD got such a low rating… I wonder why WD got such a low rating on TrustPilot. WD is actually reasonably priced for HDD. I bought one 8 TB rig and it has lasted me for 8 years. Still in good condition but gets heated quite easily.

GBJust purchased WD Passport Ultra and… Just purchased WD Passport Ultra and discovered there is no UK telephone support. The only number provided is a premium rate 00800 number. If I try to use live chat, after going through various clicks, confirmation of model, personal details, typing out the query etc etc etc.... only to discover their chat support is closed and only operates US hours and is only for US customers! Boxed and returned to Amazon !! Waste of time!

GBMy cloud drive went dead 5days before… My cloud drive went dead 5days before warranty runs out, how convenient. But managed to get a replacement via WDC wesbite and return the faulty drive. The only issue is that I selected Advance Replacement but WDC website does not seems to work in taking credit card payment information. Ended up calling their customer service and took another hour to process it over the phone. All in all, a good support but they need to work on their website, to a workable status.
