Unethical Last year, my husband and I contracted with TaxHelp USA for help on a tax debt. Their fees were $3500 but we felt in our situation, the investment would benefit us based on the information Jason Banks in sales told us in our 2-hr conversation. They set us up with Equity, which financed a loan for the services expected to be rendered by TaxHelp USA. After about 2 or 3 payments my husband and I paid off Equity in full. Nothing had yet happened on our case. No information was ever proactively given to me without my reaching out to them. Months went by sometimes and getting in contact with anyone that could answer me about the status of our account. In February 2024, a family member paid off our tax liability and we no longer needed services from this company. We have been asked several times by TaxHelp USA for signatures on IRS form 8821, which is Power of Attorney. TaxHelp USA could not advocate for us without it. We had sent at least three of them;one on the very day we started the process back in July 2023. Because they kept asking for this document, I know nothing regarding the service we paid for had been done. I have reached out at least four times in the past two months. Each time, someone says they will have a supervisor or manager call me "tomorrow"; however, tomorrow has never come. They are avoiding me and my patience is about done. We paid $3500 in good faith for help. We got nothing. Services were not rendered. Avoid this company. Shameful and unethical!

Panic Mode over tax bills! I was in panic mode over some crazy tax bills I received last year. I had consultations with a couple other companies, but they weren't much help. I needed someone to look over my tax files with a fine-tooth comb, and Tax Help USA were the ones! By taking their time and really scrutinizing my bills, they were able to narrow it down to what I actually owed, and didn't owe. What a money saver in the end!
