GBImmediate response to author's questions!!! I am a 76 year old social security recipient with limited computer skills. A Bully in the Closet: A Memoir of a Golf Widow is my first book. As a new writer I was not able to go to a traditional publisher so I sent my manuscriot to a hybrid publisher. They wanted $4,000 plus $10 a photo. I had 338 photos in my book at that time. So the total cost would be $7,338. More than I could afford. Then I sent my manuscript to another hybrid publisher who wanted $900 to read the book subject to a refund if not accepted for publication and a total cost of $2,500 plus $10 a photo. They were an affiliate of a major publisher. I reduced the number of photos to 120. The cost would have been $3,700. Still more than I could afford. I began to get emails for book publishing from $199- $499, but i'm a believer in "You get what you pay for." so I looked for a publisher who could service me for closer to my budget of $1,500. Dan Miraz of Aspire Book Publishers gave me a contract that fit my budget with no charge for photos. He was very professional and helpful. In two months I had a published book which I am thrilled with. I highly recommend Aspire Book Publishers for all your publishing needs wt a reasonable cost. They responded to my many questions within 24 hours.
