Too many issues. I cant import data by uploading W2 or 1099 forms. Had an issue with Drake not allowing me to efile return I had already paid for, now that is fixed but I can no longer print anything. Drake acts like it is going thru the process of creating a pdf but nothing ever shows up. We think we will be using other software for TY2023

As a result of their quality service, Drake has never given us a reason to look at another vendor. Drake seems to know what we need to be successful even before we know it ourselves. Having many long time employees, a family atmosphere has developed between Drake Software and our offices. Drake Portals auto logout time This is not about the Drake Tax, but Drake Portal. can you please extend the auto logout time!!!! It is ridiculously short. I cannot even go back and forth between it and Drake Tax working on a retrun only to come back and have to log back in. It is shorter than any bank login or any other application I work with . IT IS EVEN SHORTER THAN DRAKE TAX AUTO LOGOUT. What the heck are they tryng to accomplish other than aggragvate the user into finding a differnt solution?

Awful Company and terrible software Awful Company and terrible software. Don't you dare make a mistake on pay-per-return or they will refuse to give money back even if they didn't provide the service. Very dishonest, unethical people. They software itself is pretty bad. It would take less time to prepare simple returns on paper because of all their little nuances scattered in all nooks and crannies throughout the software. Their lower prices reflect their quality. Best to stay away and find a tax preparation software that will actually work for you.

We appreciate the software team We appreciate the software team. In particular the telephone support team is quick, efficient, personable, and easy to engage in meaningful conversation. They come up with solutions and show their thorough knowledge by doing it quickly. A couple things that would be good: 1. A single button to quickly print the Engagement Letter from the list of returns. 2. Consistent placement of the PRNT and Notes screens across return types. Put them all in miscellaneous or whereever.
