GBThe key is the video! The ad creation utility was easy to use. I had a few technical questions to which I received prompt responses from RVT. I had, what ultimately was the key to selling my rig, a 30 minute video giving a very detail virtual tour of the rig done is such a away the it left little to no questions unanswered. The folks who bought the rig said they made their decision based on the video. So the trick was making it available with the 15 minute limitation on YouTube. I uploaded the video to the cloud and then copied the URL in the description for people to click on. The ad went live on 2/27 and we sold it on 3/2 with over 40 views of the add!

GBGreat site to sell you RV Great to find a site that got nation wide exposure at an affordable price for listing an ad. I also liked that the ad could be listed until sold, unlike other sites on line where they only listed for a limited amount of time.

GBRV Sold to Very Nice Couple Over the course of a month and a half with our motorhome listed on RVT.com, we had roughly 4,300 clicks on our ad and eight actual inquiries. All of the inquiries were from nice people. We reduced the asking price only once by $4,200. Three people made offers, but the first two declined to complete the transaction for different reasons. The third was very impressed with our motorhome, made a satisfactory offer slightly less than our negotiable asking price and we closed on the transaction just yesterday. We're happy our motorhome is going to a very nice family who will enjoy it for years to come.

GBWhen I purchased the ad When I purchased the ad, I thought my ad would be highlighted to be larger than others, or might in some way be distinguished from other ads. When I went to RVT to search for trailers (hoping to find my trailer) it wasn't placed prominently or with anything that would set it apart from others. Maybe all the other trailer owners paid the same high amount for the ad. I had the ad on RVT for 3 weeks before placing the same ad on RV Trader. In those first 3 weeks, there were NO inquiries through RVT. Within two days of placing my RV Trader ad, I began receiving inquiries and within three weeks the trailer was sold. The reason I chose RVT was because the owner of the storage/service facility I used suggested it as a better platform than RV Trader. The RVT websitre hasn't changed much in several years. I suggest market research to learn what catches the eyes of potential buyers. Sellers really need a good return on investment, and maybe the ROI for a vast majority of sellers is high, but my experience suggests it is not the ideal platform...yet

GBMy experience with RVT was excellent. My experience with RVT was excellent. I used all of their helpful info on writing a description, setting a price and researching other RVs for sale. They helped me give pertinent info in my ad to avoid numerous inquiries just wanting info. My coach sold in less than a month with the final price only negotiated slightly. I highly recommend to anyone.
