Frustrating lack of support I've tried for days to setup "Felicia1992", but the site never sends the verification email. I wait the required hour and try to get the email again but nothing is sent. Even worse is the unavailability of online chat or other responsive support. It looks like a great site but it's no good if you can't register/verify. Update: I've been contacted by the developer of Adopted. I'm up and searching, and very happy with the service. Still, if I hadn't complained so publicly there'd be no solution to my problem. I hope they fix the site to allow non-members to reach support. My problem was solved in minutes with the help of their excellent support.

I found her!!! A friend recommended that I join this site when she learned that I was searching for a daughter I'd given up for adoption. When I created my profile, I found 6 potential matches. I sent messages to all 6 and got 2 responses. It took about 2 years because I was not a frequent visitor of the site. Of the 2 responses, 1 was definitely not a match. The other had basically the same information that I had surrounding the adoption. Which was minimal to say the least. We then decided that she would take a DNA test. I'd already taken mine. And the results were a match. According to DNA analysis, parents and children share approximately 50% of DNA. My daughter and I share 46.5% of our DNA. It's a match. I am very grateful that she was looking for me at the same time I was looking for her. Or I may not have ever found her. Thank you Adopted.com for making this happen.

Don't be foolish like me and use a debit card.... I have been trying for over 2 months to cancel and keep being charged. When I try to log into support my account is not found. I have reset the password twice. Would really really like to resolve this asap. ***Updated*** They refunded me my charges which was greatly appreciated. Biggest issue apparently was having 2 emails and not remembering which one I had used. If they had sent the reminder email with the email address in the body of it, that would have helped tremendously. Or only have 1 email to use not 2. I am changing my review since I received this help.

Useless search detailed many 90% accurate matches. After paying to see the matches turned out to be NOWHERE NEAR my search parameters. I would label this as a scam. Subscription cancelled within 10 minutes. AVOID.
