PlaylistMap Review - Tom East PlaylistMap is a platform I discovered few months back that has completely changed my process for releasing music. It’s super intuitive and easy to use. By searching for a single keyword, I can find tons of relevant playlists for my songs, as well as useful information about them, such as when the playlist was last updated, the amount of songs in it, and most importantly the contact information of the curator so that I can submit my music directly to them. I heard many great reviews and was… I heard many great reviews and was eager to reach out to curators who I had thought signed up to be listed on this service. THEY HAVE NO CLUE. I paid for the 100 credits over the course of a month, and used 4. The last one messaged me back and told me how much he charges to get a spot on a playlist, I told him I had found his contact on Playlist Map, and he said he had never heard of it. This would result in me paying two different people in two different transactions to playlist my song, which is very scammy and not how the website markets itself. I immediately canceled the subscription, but was still charged the full cost. In the unsubscribe process, it said I would be able to keep my credits for the rest of the month. It's been a week and I lost all of the credits to see if there were any curators that didn't charge $50 a week to be on a single playlist. Basically lost my money, so stay away.
