GBI wanted to purchase from store... I wanted to purchase from store... NOT have a sales clerk fill out an online order ... I could have done that myself and not driven to the store ... not cool ... and just didn't feel comfortable ... going to have store ship to my house, as I won't be back

GBCSR Tom (in Bloomington, IN) rocks!! I had an issue with a new Marshall amp that I ordered online last week. Even after confirming via an email afterwards that I did not want a floor model from a local store, but rather, a new one in the original packaging, the "local store" shipped me a floor model anyway. I called the GC customer service line to hopefully halt the shipping and was lucky enough to have "Tom" answer. He was great! He was able to reroute the amp so that it didn't ship to me, and instead found me a brand new one using a nationwide search (since they were backordered on the factory end). Hats off to Tom from Bloomington, Indiana. A joy to work with.

GBAvailable for In-store pickup then was shipped??? I was told the item was available for in-store pickup when I placed the order, and 5 hours later was told the item shipped. I didn't even provide an address for the item to be shipped to because during purchase I was told I'd be able to pick it up at the store. False advertisement; don't take my money if you don't have the item available for sale.

GBReceived Different Case Than What Was In Description The guitar arrived yesterday in great physical condition, although the volume pot is defective. Between 8 & 9 (on the control knob), there's no output, dead silence. Also, the online ad stated "original hardcase included". It was not. What arrived is the black Gibson softcase that Les Paul Studio models include. That was pretty disappointing. I've been a long time customer and this is the first time that what was described was incorrect.
