If you're an expat, Bright! Tax is what you need! Finding people who are knowledgeable with cross border taxes is tough at best. I was forced to change tax preparers this year and everyone I had contacted wasn't going to be of any help. I found Bright! Tax & went by all the good reviews they had. Fortunately for me, it was a good call. They were great throughout the whole process. If you're an expat, you really should consider using their service. It's good to know that your taxes have been done correctly!

Definitely worth it Initial conversation went well and I felt like she listened to everything I had to say, as well as asking pertinent questions. The website itself is functional and does not need to be much more than it is. Overall, I had a great person with adequate technology that provided a good service. Definitely would recommend.

A Toast to Nour and Nicolas! Bright!Tax delivered once again this year. We started early, around early March, and they were done before the US residents deadline (April/15) even though as an expat I don't have to file until June. Still, it was nice not to have to make any estimated tax payment just to have that money sit there for no reason before getting it back long after June. My tax project team, Nicolas and Nour, are quick to reply to my questions and asks, and made the process simple and seamless. Once you get used to their user interface (for data collecting) it works well. I wanted an experienced team and a CPA to take care of my expat return, and Bright!Tax delivered it. I'm a happy camper. First time to file taxes This year was our first year to file US taxes from abroad. We did some digging about who / which firm could be able to help us. Finally, I chose Bright!Tax. The CPA who assisted us is Jeff who is knowledgeable, courteous and easy to communicate with. Due to some hiccups in the process, Jeff had to submit an extension to file our returns. Despite this, we still managed to pay our taxes before the April 15 deadline. I have to add that Jeff's team members, Meghan and Dafna are responsive. They often acknowledged receipt of my emails when Jeff wasn't able to answer them like quickly every time. Overall, we are happy with the service provided. Bright!Tax's fees are reasonable and transparent. We won't have second thoughts about using Bright!Tax next year.
