Best experience I’ve had with US taxes I have been filing US taxes from Canada for more than 40 years. I’ve done pen and paper returns, used accountants, and used other programs. ExpatFile was the easiest experience I’ve had by far. The questions are clear, and unlike other programs, they don’t leave the user to try to figure out how foreign data fits onto American forms! And you don’t need a U.S. billing address to pay.

Omg, so easy! Omg, this is exactly what I was looking for when trying to file my US taxes as an expat. I was trying with H&R block and it kept giving me errors with no clear explanation on what I needed to do. I moved over to expatfile, and within 10 minutes, I had filed my taxes! Each screen was clear and concise on what was needed in order to file as an expat. It should always be this easy.

Update for 2024 tax refund Update for 2024 tax refund Not sure how to do an update so I am just writing another short review. I have already received my refund and is not even the end of April. I submitted a tax refund to turbo tax for what I think was the year 2020 or 2021 and still have not heard back. I will never use any other application again. I could not be happier!

Fast & Easy, and good support! Very easy and I can do my taxes quite easily. This is the first year I've done an e-file. When my e-file was rejected the support team was very helpful and gave me a step-by-step guide to help me e-file them correctly.
