Wish there were more female and POC… Wish there were more female and POC advisors to choose from. I interviewed three FAs (two white men, one white woman). They were all professional, but one of the men seemed unsure of how to connect with me because my wealth was (1) not generational and (2) not in the millions…yet. I ended up choosing a female FA because she was interested in helping with my life goals and retirement timeline just as much as my fiancé’s.
