MXUseful trading app This has been my trading platform for a few years now and I don't see me pulling any funds out. I've never had issues with tax reporting or fund availability or system outages. However I wish the platform offered deeper stock information regarding dividends (ex date, pay date, dividend history, declarations), I usually have to use seeking alpha for stock info and I feel it's something stockpile could offer. Another thing can be instant trading as I always had to wait for market closing prices.

GBStockpile does exactly what I want Stockpile does exactly what I want. It has made it easy for my young nephew to learn in a hands-on way about the stock market and economy. Although he still needs my ok to take actions, he has learned a lot and is looking forward to his 18th birthday this fall. At that point, he will most likely stay on Stockpile and continue his investment journey. I have also liked the ability to gift him funds directly to his Stockpile account. He's gotten great at researching companies, using Stockpile. Oh, and I love the name "Stockpile"!

GBThey need to change their advertising They need to change their advertising. This is not meant for kids. I DO NOT recommend buying a kid a gift certificate for them as ALL THE MONEY will end up going to their $5 per month monthly fee (that they implemented after my kid was gifted a $100 gift card). (I get a per transaction fee, but monthly fee for a kid who got a gift card, the $100 dwindles down quite quickly if the stock is dipping as well!)

GBI closed my account today I closed my account today. Having been with Stockpile for four or five years. I am a small time retail investor. Less than 2k at peak. With the stocks I invested in taking a dive and monthly fees chipping away at what is left I effectively have zero and would be paying for the privilege of having an account with a zero. If you had tens of thousands of dollars in dividend paying stocks it would be okay. It is literally worse than keeping your money in a savings account with a .03 percent interest rate.
