They all wanted documents up front before giving out a rate. Who does that. I contacted Pen Fed, and with just a 5 min conversation I was given a rate quote (that was lower than elsewhere) and moving forward was super easy and pleasant. I already uploaded the 1 document they needed and I will be getting the loan file in a day or two, and that's it.
