Worst service ever, No desi people go with these guys, sincere advice these guys literally hold your money as long as they want (am talking about atleast 10 days easily) and will give you tons of excuses like account not verified, even after verification after 8 days of withdrawing money form your account they wil send you an email asking if you still wanna transfer the money. and literally you will easily loose 10 days in it and still wont be transfered, on the 11 th day you will get an email saying it ll be credited to the beneficiary in next 48 hours. which literally mean your beneficiary wont get the money easily or wont get it in 12 days. They dont have a contact number so you have no way to call them and ask. they have only one email address and it take days for them to respond.

Be careful with remit lite It is already more than 3 weeks since i transferred my money . There is no toll free number from USA to call and verify on status. if you send email you get standard response, be careful it looks like these guys are scam or illegal. Not sure if they are waiting for the dollar amount to go down (which is going down every day).

remitlite.com remit to india these guys are fake. these guys are fake. 1. Who takes 12 days to transfer money to India 2. Exchange rate are not locked in at the time of transfer 3. You cannot call them because they don't have a phone number. 4. They will have the max exchange rate listed on their site. But you will never get that because that is just for showing the customer that they offer the best rates. 5. you will get the lowest rate in the 12 days time frame that they will have. 6. If you transferred the money at 60 and rate went down to 59 you will get somewhere near 58.80 7. Plus they will charge service fee of $3.00 for transferring money. 8. Plus they will charge you around Rs: 180 as tax (Saying that government og India charges that which is not true) 9. They will at least make Rs5000 for every $3000 that you will send. 10. Ultimately when you will receive your money after a long wait you will be so frustrated that you would like to call them to flight with them but you cannot do that because there is no phone number to call. You will end up writing a bad email to them which will come back to you as a automatic reply from there software Don't make a mistake sending the money. I am sharing my true expirence. Did not get the indicated amount The exchange rate was higher but the amount that I received is less due to the service tax and other things. I have used many services prior to RemitLite but always got the amount as shown, whereas here I lost almost 1 INR per USD.

Dont fall prey to their false promises I had a very bad experience with this site. even after verifying my local bank account , it took 11 working days ( a total of 16 days) to see my amount transferred to India. and guess what, i got the lowest of rates prevailing in those 16 days which was way off what was shown on the site even on the transfer day. to add to this, there was a transfer fee of 2.99 and then local taxes during transfer. in all, i got the worst possible rate when compared with all the other similar services. I also tried talking to their customer care center multiple times to see if they could resolve the issue and give a proper excuse. They said that they might take off the transfer fee but that never happened. I have used quite few services and I surely regard this as the worst. they get their profits based on false communications and wrong information published on the site. Dont fall prey to their maligned tactics. Other sites are much better than this on in terms of transfer fee, exchange rate and customer care.
