Good editorial reviews but users are the real MVPs Wise Bread is one of those review sites that review everything under the sun. Bank accounts, insurance, credit cards, pet food... you name it... they review it. Their editorial reviews are excellent. But, like in most places, the comments left by other readers are even more informative. Good to see insights and ratings from average people like myself.

Good Travel Rewards Advice I like to travel but hate learning about the fine print of travel rewards from different airlines. As an average bloke with a short attention span this easy to follow site is perfect.

Tired of Credit Card people with sleazy sales tactics Credit card companies like all other corporations are out to make a quick buck. Before selecting a credit card , go to an independent site like Wise Bread to get the objective details. It will save you thousands in the long run.

A consumer review tool powered by real experts Wise Bread doesn't look like much the first time I visited. The design is old and the article titles are the same as any other personal finance portal. After digging deeper, however, I found that the key difference between Wise Bread and other so-called "expert" sites . . . Wise Bread has actual real experts. Their personal finance editor was the former editor for Mint.com. Many of their writers are real journalists who worked for big time papers like the Chicago Tribune and US News and World Report. This portal has tons of credibility.

Everything you ever wanted to know about finance Wise Bread covers every aspect of finance from explaining the benefits of online checking accounts to showing you how to save money by making your own laundry detergent. The blog posts can be a bit chaotic. They are a group blog and not every writer is awesome. But most are pretty good. 9 out of 10 time you will find what you need and more.
