Then as my medical record started to be examined by the underwriter a small issue caused me to have numerous medical tests. This was very expensive and caused me to miss days of work for an issue that ended up being very minor. After all of that my rate nearly doubled from what I was quoted. I would probably shop around for a better rate, but I'm exhausted from the whole process.

Very straight forward rates and… Very straight forward rates and terms.The procedure for my in home exam and paperwork was very professional and courteous. I also appreciated getting the results on line from my blood work and tests to see how I did.SBLI is a trusting company that I have had the pleasure of having since I was like 18 or 19 right out of high school.

They did not confirm with me if I want to push through with increased quoted premium My quote of premium was 3x the usual amount, because of 1 abnormal lab result. That is okay. What is not okay was they cancelled my previous coverage and replaced it with the expensive one without asking me if i want to push through with the changes.
