GBHave been with Southstar for years… Have been with Southstar for years without little incident. Sometimes a hiccup here or there with their hours because they seem to close a lot near holidays and on holidays. We have had a good relationship up until recently when business slowed down. As we are trying to make it through this tough time, I get hit with a “ minimum.” Not only are we just trying to get by till things improve in the volatile market but to get hit by my “partner “ with a minimum and charges me over $2000 for a quarter because I didn’t have anything to factor. They did this after several phone calls with Josh months ango and he telling me he was going to talk to his supervisor and try to help me so they didn’t charge me. I never heard back from Josh on that so I assumed it was handled. It was not! so I get hit with fees on the time that throws me negative after I pay my contractor. I called Josh four times in two days and he would not return my call. I even called the office and she walked around the corner and said he was on the phone and would call me within an hour, I never heard from him and still haven’t two weeks later. His supervisor did return my call and refunded me to $1300 however this week they informed me they are taking the 1300 back. I guess they loaned me the money since Josh was a terrible rep. Don’t understand their logic for doing this and cannot wait till my contract is up so I can terminate my partnership with them. You realize your contract renews every year . I did not, they got me on some “fine print”. I have not signed anything in several years just a heads up of something else that was not disclosed to me. Kind of scary a Company makes you do business with them whether you want to or not

GBRelationship with SouthStar started November 2017 Relationship with SouthStar started very poorly with lack of communication and delays. Since about two months in everything is working quite well. Victoria G is very easy to work with and responds to needs quickly. I would like to see improved information (more user friendly) from Factor Fox including a Monthly Statement.

GBGreat company I have to say before becoming a southstar customer I was scared that my business would fold. After becoming a client of Southstar we have been able to scale and meet most of our obligations. My dedicated account manager Lori has been a god send to me somehow she knows how to get me through stressful situations and is a grand resource to my business. I would say if I had to say what could improve in general would be more funding options for long standing customers other than invoice factoring maybe a term loan option.
