GBprivacy.com is an excellent security tool I've been using privacy.com for several years. Although at first I had a few hiccups due to my understanding of card-vendor lock-in, how/when they assess/determine my available funds, etc. using privacy.com is now a very fluid and seamless way to limit "blast radius" of CC usage. I have many monthly "subscription" based cards for things like streaming services. I create many on-demand 1-off burner cards for things that I might do only 1x annually, like charitable giving or school expenses. I have spread the word to many friends and family.

GBI decided to try Privacy and at first… I decided to try Privacy and at first it would allow me to use my telephone number to create my profile. Therefore, I had to use me wife's phone number and then I encountered another problem when I attempted to add my debit card to the account. My account was debited $2.87, but I kept receiving the following message "Only active accounts can activate funding cards. Please contact Privacy support email address" when I tried to confirm the amount. Additionally, It initially asked for the last four digits of my social security number, but later asked for my complete social. This was not what I anticipated after reading these reviews. This review would not allow me to include the email address that was shown when I tried to confirm the amount of money that was debited.

GBGreat service, needs improvement Privacy is great for keeping your credit card numbers safe online. You can set limits and time periods, and issue different card numbers to different companies. Unfortunately they don't seem interested in being able to combine accounts--like one for work and one for home. It's a major pain to sign out and sign in to a different account. The reporting that is requires for accountants is absolutely dismal. Several suggestions on how to improve the reporting fell on deaf ears.

GBPrivacy has already saved me from… Privacy has already saved me from fraudulent transactions after a couple uses. If you're not using Privacy for all capable purchases, you're putting yourself at unnecessary risk. It's free and truly works.
