I've been trying to get off their promotional email list for weeks and am still getting alarmist emails about my (perfectly fine) credit score. Because of this, I have no confidence they're not reselling my info on the open market.

Unsubscribe Link is Broken This has less to do with their credit improvement system- which failed in my case in spite of following their program to the letter, and more to do with the seeming impossibility to be removed from their mailing list. Attempts to unsubscribe produce the following: "WalletHub Oops! This IP address has been blocked due to too many requests. To unblock, please send your IP address via email to help (at) wallethub.com." Update: Complicating the process of unsubscribing from an email list is a violation of the CAN-SPAM Act. This includes requiring customers to login or contact the company with other info in order to be unsubscribed. The fine for violating this Act is over $40K per email.
