In 1995, Mr. Sobin sold State-Wide Capital to Superior Bank FSB, a federal savings bank headquartered in Illinois. Thank you Select Commercial!!! Thank you Select Commercial! My mortgage on my apartment building matured and needed to be refinanced. I started with the bank that held my mortgage, but they were not lending any longer. I called a few of my local banks but their rates were very high, and they wanted me to sign personally. I found Select Commercial online and gave them a call. Stephen Sobin was very helpful and was able to offer me a rate that was lower than the local banks were offering. In addition, the loan was non-recourse. I went through the application process and it was pretty smooth – no surprises. I would gladly recommend them to others. Thanks again.
