About Selflender

Getting credit for the first time used to be an excruciatingly painful process. Self Lender gives you the tools and knowledge to establish credit history in a safe, responsible way. Self Lender provides personalized credit score tracking, credit monitoring, access to simple financial tools, and the opportunity to apply for a credit builder account. A credit builder account is a combination loan and savings program that may help you establish a good payment history - one of the most important factors in achieving a better credit score. How Credit Builder Loans Work A safer way to save money and build credit, these small loans are held in a CD account for 12 months. The account is FDIC insured, earns 0.10% APY† interest and is held for you in your name during the term. At the end of the term, your CD matures and you receive the loan in full, plus earned interest!

Improvement of my credit score Improvement of my credit score. This company did a great job. When I first got involved. I was really trying to do all of the right things by entering money into my account even if it was just $5.00 but some kind of way. It was taking care of. At first I was putting. All the security on the company. Thinking that they were going to properly do their jobs. I added a credit card. But it went bad. Because hackers kept going into my account. Some kind of way. But I'm guessing it's in check now. I will continue with self to improve my credit.

Credit Score was hurt more than helped - STAY AWAY I started using Self Lender back in 2020. After completing my one-year account, I signed up for another 2 year account. The original account closed and my credit score dropped 34 points - 4 points below where it had been when I started the program. When I called their customer service, I was told that they couldn’t do anything to help. After seeing this, I was afraid that, after the two year period, my credit score would take an even bigger hit, so I cancelled the program altogether. 8 months later, the account finally closed and in one day, my score dropped 64 points. I feel incredibly disappointed with my experience.

It is easy to use and I love it It is easy to use and I love how much my credit has improved just in six months. I could not have even thought about co-signing for an apartment for my son or getting financed for a vehicle before I started using self!

At first I was skeptical about what was… At first I was skeptical about what was going to happen, but amazingly over a few months of service my score started to rise, then drop, but then rise even higher, then drop a Lil, until a year and half later from 594 score to 728 now. Not bad and it's sticking. This app motivates me to keep up with my spending, and saving, debt solutions. Thank you so much to the person who came up with this app
