GBName change made easy I was a bit nervous calling about a name change, but Elaina was amazing. She clearly explained the process and sent me a follow up email with detailed steps. Once initially submitted, Elaina was very quick to suggest adding one missing bit of documentation and then everything was processed the same day. Absolutely incredible, as I was sure this could drag on for a while. My only constructive criticism is the hold music could be better. It kind of makes you tense. :-) But thank you for a very positive experience.

GBThis company is the worst 401K company… This company is the worst 401K company I have ever been forced to allow to hold my 401K contributions. They make changes to one's investments, changing where and how much is invested WITHOUT your express approval. Even when you are explicitly denied them the rights to 'rebalance'. Then they argue with you and refuse to change your investments back, costing one significant earnings and leaving you stuck with the funds that charge the highest fees. If your employer chooses this company for 401Ks, FIND A ANOTHER Employer.

GBPoor training and response time One of my businesses has been a Ubiquity Retirement customer since 2015. I'm an experienced benefits consultant with more than 30 years of working with 401(k) plans. From the beginning, I realized Ubiquity is not for an employer that doesn't have access to someone like me. The company's people are poorly trained but that has not been an issue as I have the expertise to overcome their shortfalls. However, within the last year or so, I've notice Ubiquity rarely answer their phones and their response time has become way too long. Unless you have significant expertise in the 401(k) area, you should look elsewhere!

GBKelley was very helpful with date changes Kelley was very helpful navigating the unusual circumstances with the PPP and payroll costs uncertainty. I wanted to be sure to reflect the exact dates covered by the Ubiquity payments, and he was clear and very helpful also I had discussed the secondary trustee with Tony (who wisely suggested it to us) awhile ago, and he reminded me of the procedure. he was great. and I appreciated the call back as I guess the phones were down when i called that day. GBWorst customer service and non responsive I have been chasing MyUbiquity to release my fund from last 1.5 years, lost phenomenal amount of tax savings as could not take distribution last year. I left the employer in middle of 2022 and since that time I have been asking to release my funds. Made some 100 of calls and emails, no luck. I was the trustee on the account and it has been nightmare to get the account closed. The customer service is extremely poor and generally the answering person picks the call and then they return the call in 1-2 days if you are lucky. I would not recommend this company if you want to avoid the run around when you have to exit the plan. By the way dont believe their website which shows all false reviews ratings, for example they are 3.8 star on trust pilot but shows 4.6 on the website. I have given up to retrieve my funds and finally I have to highlight this incident so others dont suffer in the same way.
