GBThey give decent honest advice They give decent honest advice. They do not offer Get Rich Quick, nor are they 100% perfect in their predictions, no one can be. For just over a decade, I have followed their advice and my modest Nest Egg in an ISA has more than doubled. Diversification and patience are key to investing. Some investments have lost money, most have gained, some have gained BIG. You need a minimum time frame of 3 years. Never risk money you cannot afford to lose

GBHidden Winners I was an original member of their Hidden Winners project and I lasted until last year. The tips are monthly and on the whole pretty useless, with follow ups, like Hold or Sell coming too late to avoid heavy losses. Some tips were good but some were pretty awful and if you kept choosing the awful ones, well on top of fees, thats just one expensive mistake after another.

GBI'm surprised at the number of negative… I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews. I can only conclude that some expect too much. Motley Fool do their research and come to reasonable conclusions. But they don't have a crystal ball. Investors have a responsibility, I think, to be careful and not simply invest in a recommendation they haven't looked into themselves. Consider Motley Fool as a starting point, not a rubber stamp. Most of the recommendations I leave alone. Those I have picked have for the most part done well, far better than the annual fee.

GBContradicting articles all the time How do I start? One of their headlines says the price of a share is about to skyrocket , next headline “why I should avoid” the same company, and so on and so on, I was silly enough to follow their advice in some companies and now literally losing all the investment, avoid their articles they don’t even communicate to each other before writing the stuff they say

GBReally terrible stock picking tips and… Really terrible stock picking tips and endless attempts to upsell. What is worse is that I've noted that some of the Fire picks they've recommended seem to plummet almost immediately after being tipped - I'm not saying that this is a pump and dump mechanism but something feels badly amiss.
