THEY ALSO CHARGE A FEE TO READ ANY MESSAGES YOU GET! So thank full it is not that way here! But I would like to know how 2 people can send references and such through the app.I love having a witness to help with safety. Expiration notices … I got a notice of upcoming expiration this morning, And I replied to the message that I was not getting any responses through the app so felt no need to renew it. Elly Messaged me that my account had already been expired for a while now which is why I was not getting any responses so she offered me an additional month which I loved and appreciated!! HOWEVER, I had NOT Received at expired notice before so did not have any idea that the account was not active, which is why I was not receiving responses. It seems I have already missed out on some opportunities and people that responded to that never got back to me.

I must say though, I cannot believe that SpareRoom would allow my home to be found on the map. I'm putting up pictures of my house and any person can just zoom in and figure out where I live based on the color of my home. If I hadn't already paid for it, I would have skipped this service. I don't need creeps looking at pictures of me and figuring out which house is mine.

I received many inquiries within 2 days… I received many inquiries within 2 days of posting my room, and the room was taken in 2 days. I posted in Craigslist (CL), but for some reason, someone kept flagging my post. I even emailed CL customer service; the same thing happened. I reposted it, and it got flagged again. And it's only me; other people got the same experience: abusive flagging even though your post is legitimate. I paid for one week in a Spare room, and it's worth it.
